김두경(b.1988)은 디자인 연구자이자 미술가로, 네덜란드 Design Academy Eindhoven에서 Geo-Design 석사 과정을 졸업했다. 동시대의 전쟁과 재난에 따른 집단적 죽음, 그리고 그 이후의 삶을 연구한다.
현재 한국의 잇따른 대형 참사가 한 세대에 남긴 집단적 정동에 주목하고 있다. 짧은 소설을 중심으로 핸드 드로잉 애니메이션과 세라믹, 퍼포먼스를 연결하며, 재난 이후 우리의 일상에 남은 비가시적 감각을 추적한다.
최근 작업 《EXOYELLOW》(2026)는 2022년 10·29 참사 현장에 남겨진 애도의 포스트잇과 한국의 20·30대가 공유하는 정서를 연결한다. 이를 통해 애도의 다양한 방식을 질문하며, 재난으로 균열이 생긴 이들의 일상을 이야기한다.


Dugyung Kim (b.1988) is a design researcher and artist who holds a master’s degree in Geo-Design from Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. She researches collective death resulting from contemporary wars and disasters, and the lives that follow.
She currently focuses on the collective affect that successive large-scale disasters in South Korea have left on a generation. With short fiction at the core of her practice, she brings together hand-drawn animation, ceramics, and performance to trace the invisible sensations that remain in our everyday lives after tragedy.
Her recent work, EXOYELLOW(2026), connects the Post-it notes left as expressions of mourning at the site of the Itaewon crowd crush on 29 October 2022 with the emotions shared by people in their twenties and thirties in South Korea. Through this work, she questions diverse ways of mourning and explores their everyday lives, fractured by tragedy.
